I took on this project as part of my dissertation for university. It explored the use of games technology for real-time architectural visualisation, focusing on integrating interactive elements that can be implemented using Unreal Engine 4 such as manipulating walls, objects and doors. It also compared various lighting effects to currently used packages, such as changing the time of day and types of interior lighting. I worked with architects at Stride Treglown to identify what industry professionals look for in visualisations, and whether or not the interactive elements are necessary for them and clients.
