These underground tunnels were created using my own 3D models and textures. All of the materials featured in the pictures were photographed and then edited in Photoshop to be used as textures in this realistic visualisation of a WWII-era underground tunnel. All assets were modelled in Maya and placed in the scene, before being rendered in Mental Ray. I feel the use of dim lighting provides a spooky ambience in this scene, which is suitable for the intended aesthetic.
